CEW Foundation

The Cosmetic Executive Women Foundation, founded in 1993, is a nonprofit charitable organization that supports charities through funding and membership involvement. The Foundation is dedicated to helping women.

The Foundation founded and supports Cancer and Careers, an online and offline resource for working women with cancer and their employers, co-workers and caregivers. For information on cancerandcareers, click here: www.cancercandcareers.org.

The Foundation has also assisted the following charities:

Women In Need, Inc. (WIN), a New York-based nonprofit organization that serves homeless and underprivileged women and their children.

The Foundation funded the renovation of a WIN shelter, now named the Cosmetic Executive Women Residence at Casa Rita, and maintenance of the residence.

Women's Venture Fund (WVF) provides micro-loans, business training, counseling, and mentoring services to low-income, minority entrepreneurial women in New York City. Through WVF, the CEW Foundation provides funding for emerging businesswomen.

Prep for Prep identifies intellectually gifted youngsters from minority group backgrounds, prepares them for placement in New York City's independent schools, and provides peer support and a range of leadership development opportunities.

The Foundation is currently sponsoring a deserving student throughout her seven-year Prep for Prep program.
