CEW Beauty Awards Product Demonstration Policy

The purpose of the CEW Product Demonstration is to provide members with the opportunity to learn about the products entered in the Beauty Awards first hand. However, capacity at the event is limited.  Members who do not or cannot attend can view the online viewbook which contains individual product descriptions for all entries. Gift bags are only available the evening of the Demonstration for the registered member and are NOT transferable. 

2007 BEAUTY AWARDS PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION
Insiders from across the beauty industry turned the Metropolitan Pavilion into a super-size beauty counter on the evening of Thursday, February 15 when they reviewed close to 600+ new products at the Beauty Awards Product Demonstration.  CEW members had the opportunity to touch, smell and test competing products across 34 different categories to select the “best of the best” and the most innovative new beauty launches in 2006. CEW President Carlotta Jacobson noted, “CEW members are the most qualified group to recognize the best and brightest products. These women are ‘real’ beauty experts and use their insider knowledge to identify the most innovative products.”

This year, CEW members enjoyed some extra pampering along with their products thanks to Beauty Award Sponsors. Members lined up to get manicures in the Allure Lounge, quick-fix makeovers by CVS makeup artists, and their photos snapped at the Crest Whitestrips Renewal Photo Booth. They swiped Arcade Marketing ProCards from their invitations for a chance to win iPod Nanos, and relaxed with scented massages in the Givaudan Well-Being Lounge. Restylane doctors gave on-the-spot consultations, and several lucky guests won free Restylane treatments. Those who wanted an instant change got fitted for FreshLook Color Contact Lenses and left with a whole new outlook! Lalique provided some bling with a hard-to-resist 20% discount on any crystal pendants and rings purchased that night. And the Royal Promotion Group topped it all off with a chocolate fondue fountain!
