Susan Arnold is President-Global Business Units at Procter & Gamble (P&G). She has overall responsibility for the company's global business totaling over $80 billion and 300 brands in 2008.
Prior to her current role, Susan led P&G's global Beauty and Health businesses including leading brands such as Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Wella, Olay, Cover Girl, Hugo Boss, Always, Actonel, Crest and Vicks. Her leadership in these fast-growing, high-margin businesses has been a critical component in P&G's overall growth in recent years, and in establishing P&G as one of the world's leading beauty companies
Susan is known for her strong business intuition, laser focus on delighting consumers, decisive leadership and commitment to diversity in the workplace through her inclusive style. She has been instrumental in embedding sustainability more deeply into P&G products and operations to improve consumers' lives now and for generations to come.
She serves on the boards of The Walt Disney Company and Catalyst, a nonprofit organization committed to expanding opportunities for women and business. She has been on Fortune's 50 Most Powerful Women in Business list for the past five years, and Forbes ' World's 100 Most Powerful Women list since 2004. She was P&G's first woman Vice-chair and President.
