Celebrating the Best in Beauty with Cosmetic Executive Women

~ 2007 Beauty Awards Finalists Announced ~

New York, NY – March 2007 – Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) announced the Finalists for the 2007 Beauty Awards on Friday, March 9. Over 625 beauty products were entered this year by 75 companies vying for the beauty industry’s highest honor. The CEW Board of Governors will now vote on the 170 Finalists to determine the best in beauty across 33 categories. On May 2nd, the esteemed list of winners will be announced at the CEW Beauty Awards Luncheon at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.

The CEW Beauty Awards celebrate product innovation and remain the only awards program to be chosen exclusively by beauty insiders. The annual roster of winners, handpicked by professionals in the field, has become consumers’ most coveted shopping list. In addition to bestowing honors on the best products of the year, the CEW Beauty Awards will announce the winner of the “Indie Beauty Award,” which recognizes the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of a small, independent beauty company. This year’s Indie Finalists include Oscar Blandi Products LLC, EasyStraight, mally Beauty, SpaRitual International, skyn ICELAND, JEMMA KIDD MAKE UP SCHOOL, and JONATHAN|product.

The CEW Beauty Award winners will enjoy a media campaign reaching upwards of 80 million consumers. CEW’s retail partners, CVS/pharmacy, Macy’s, Sephora and ULTA, will also provide print and online promotions.
