Event/Program Sponsorship Opportunities

Holiday Luncheon & Auction

This annual event acknowledges the charitable contributions and volunteer efforts of CEW members and honors major corporations for their philanthropy. Previously honored companies include Shiseido, Neutrogena, L'Oréal, Avon Products, Inc., Coty, Inc. and Revlon.

Colleen Goggins, Worldwide Chairman, accepted the award on behalf of Johnson and Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. at the 2006 Holiday Luncheon. This award honors an employer who has been exemplary in supporting employees with cancer. A live auction is held at the luncheon to raise funds for Cancer and Careers, CEW Foundation's online and offline resource devoted to helping working women cope with the impact of cancer on their careers. The Holiday Luncheon is held each December at the Waldorf=Astoria, and attracts over 1100 beauty industry leaders.

Beauty Awards

The premiere awards event of the beauty industry, this annual program recognizes outstanding innovation in beauty products in thirty-three categories, in both limited and mass distribution.

It commences with the Beauty Awards Product Demonstration and Cocktail Party where the 600+ product entries are showcased for, and sampled by, CEW members. Members vote by secret ballots, and then Ernst & Young tabulates the votes and announces the finalists in each category.

Winners will be announced at the celebrity-studded Beauty Awards Luncheon on May 2, 2007. Held at the Waldorf=Astoria in NYC, the event attracts over 1,300 key industry decision-makers.

Achiever Awards

This annual program honors leading women executives who have contributed significantly to the growth of the beauty industry and the advancement of women. In 2007, five outstanding women will be honored at this event.

The 2007 Achiever Award honorees are:
Pamela Baxter, President and CEO, LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics, North America; Thia Breen, President, Estée Lauder Worldwide; Gina Drosos, President, Global Personal Beauty, P&G Beauty; Helena Foulkes, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Operations Services, CVS/pharmacy and Candace Matthews, President, SoftSheen-Carson.

The Achiever Awards luncheon will be held on October 5th, 2007 at the Waldorf= Astoria, with over 1200 guests in attendance.

Women in Beauty Series

The Women in Beauty series features some of the most accomplished women working in the beauty industry today. This series is an integral part of CEW’s mission to further the professional development of its members, and provides a unique platform for guests to share their perspective on career and business. Drawing from the varied experiences of women who have ascended to senior management, attendees find inspiration and insight with each new guest. Each evening event features a lively cocktail hour for networking, followed by an in-depth discussion with a special guest. CEW encourages attendee participation with a question and answer segment at the end of each discussion.

Upcoming speakers include: Veronique Gabai-Pinsky, President, Aramis and Designer Fragrances, The Estée Lauder Companies; Helena Foulkes, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Operations Services, CVS and Betsy Olum, Senior Vice President Marketing, Sephora; and Christine Beauchamp, President & CEO, Victoria's Secret Beauty.

Newsmaker Forums

These high-profile briefings feature prominent business leaders reporting on groundbreaking news affecting the industry. On September 6, 2006, Neil Fiske, CEO, Bath & Body Works, addressed the industry. This sold-out program was held at the Harmonie Club.

Because of their timely topics, Newsmaker Forums are frequently sold-out events. They can be positioned as breakfast meetings, luncheons or cocktail receptions. William Lauder, President & CEO, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is scheduled to speak on September 5, 2007.

cancerandcareers.org
