AmorePacific is honing in on the Millennial consumer with its latest import from South Korea, Mamonde. The flower-inspired line is one of the company’s most-sought after brands in Asia, hence its entry into the U.S. where the quest for K-beauty products remains strong.

Mamonde formulas are inspired by more than 70 years of tradition and modern day flower research where experts study the flowers cultivated in Seoul’s Mamonde Garden to yield gentle offerings featuring the highest quality natural floral essences using sustainable practices. Extraction techniques gently freeze or cold press the flowers to preserve active ingredients in their peak. The flowers used to create formulas include damask rose to awaken skin, Hibiscus to strengthen the moisture barrier and revitalize skin, and narcissus to quench and deliver hydration. Heartleaf and honeysuckle are also used, which are known for their detoxifying and immune boosting properties, respectively.

Ulta Beauty will be the brand’s exclusive retail partner. Beginning February 7, 27 Mamonde items will be available on the store’s website; on March 5 the collection will enter 207 U.S. doors nationwide. Mamonde will be merchandised within Ulta Beauty’s prestige beauty assortment.

“Ulta wanted a simplification of the K-beauty routine,” said Eber Bodmer, Head of Marketing, Mamonde. “So we chose items that will help her achieve cleansing, toning and moisturizing in a curated assortment.”
