Grammy Award winner Ariana Grande is launching a fragrance, God is a Woman, in partnership with LUXE Brands. The scent launched exclusively on Ulta.com July 29 and is in Ulta Beauty stores nationwide beginning today, August 1.
Inspired by the grand power of nature, the juice of God is a Woman is composed of 91 percent naturally derived clean ingredients, a first for the Ariana Grande Fragrance franchise. Top notes are ambrette and juicy pear; heart notes are orris and Turkish rose petals; drydown is comprised of Madagascar vanilla and creamy cedarwood. It remains vegan and cruelty free. In the two weeks following the launch, a contribution from every qualifying purchase of the fragrance will be donated to ocean clean up initiatives globally.
Crafted by Robertet’s Jerome Epinette, the perfumer and artisan behind Byredo and Atelier Cologne, God is a Woman is a combination of luxurious, natural ingredients.
Ariana launched her first fragrance in 2015. Since then, her global success in fragrance has been unprecedented with retail sales upwards of $750 million.
Packaging design utilizes a tall, slender translucent lavender glass with an elegant creamy white cap. The bottle is set inside a stone-like holder. Secondary packaging shows Ariana wrapped in beautiful florals, almost as if she is one with nature, creating a fantasy of transcendence.
Prices will range from $45 for a 1-oz EDP to $65 for a 3.4-oz EDP. The brand will roll out globally to additional prestige retailers in late fall, including Shoppers Drug Mart, Douglas, Boots, Superdrug, The Perfume Shop, The Fragrance Shop and My Chemist.
