Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, one the brand’s best-selling original formulas, has undergone a makeover. Launched in 2018, this cult-favorite product among consumers and beauty editors alike was a success from the start. It won nine industry awards for its unprecedented efficacy. Professor Bader, with a goal to provide the best in consumer skin care, returned to the lab to create this upgraded, cutting-edge formula.

The reformulated The Rich Cream aims to deliver a better consumer experience and better results—backed by clinical and user trials. The Rich Cream’s new formula is designed to be silky-textured, deeply nourishing and extremely effective. It works to visibly reduce the signs of aging and protect the skin from oxidative stress for a healthy, more youthful-looking complexion. Formulated for normal to dry skin types, The Rich Cream Deeply aims to help relieve dry skin. It’s clinically proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation, and to promote elasticity and support skin barrier function. The formula is now vegan, which will resonate with consumers who are increasingly interested in vegan skin care.

Clinical Trial Results
In clinical trial results held with 30 participants over one month, The Rich Cream’s upgraded formula achieved an improvement level in skin hydration of 145 percent. Wrinkle reduction ranged between 37 percent and 54 percent during this same timeframe, while skin firmness was shown to improve by 92 percent.

User Trial Results
Among user trials with 105 members, 100 percent of participants noted that their skin instantly felt more hydrated and nourished, while 99 percent said that, over 12 weeks, their skin overall felt renewed, replenished and reinvigorated. About 97 percent agreed their skin’s tone and texture looked dramatically transformed.

The Ingredients
Both the original and the upgraded formula incorporate the brand’s exclusive complex called TFC8, or Trigger Factor Complex, something the company bills as a cellular-renewing, patented technology unique to Augustinus Bader skin care. This complex is backed by more than 30 years of research and innovation. The formula also contains evening primrose oil, which is rich in omega fatty acids and linoleic acid; squalane, a powerful humectant to improve moisture retention; vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and hydrolyzed rice protein.

The new Augustinus Bader Rich Cream is available beginning March 2 on the brand’s website and sells for $85 (15ml), $170 (30ml) and $265 (50m).
