In an effort to reduce its environmental impact, Avon’s iconic brochure is getting a digital makeover. The new revamp aims to improve the selling experience for Avon representatives throughout North America, while helping them further expand their reach. The entirely interactive, digital catalog will include a browsing and buying experience that is optimized for desktop and mobile with shoppable posts, video makeup tutorials, influencer-created content, interviews with product creators, video reviews, animations and seamless sharing via social, email or SMS. AR makeup will also be a key feature with functions such as Virtual Try-On, Foundation Shade Finder and Concealer Shade Finder. Avon representatives can also customize their Avon catalog and experience for shoppers allowing them more room to promote their business.

The digital initiative launches April 29 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, but Avon’s paper brochure will still be available while the company works towards its goal of making it exclusively digital over the next few years. Last year, the company began printing the brochure in smaller dimensions, less ink, fewer pages and sustainability sourced paper.
