In news curated from various sources in Asia, Shiseido has its eye firmly on millennials with the launch of 26 new products under its Aupres line, according to a report by Nikkei Asian Review. The items, which will be launching exclusively for the Chinese market, were developed using data from more than 100,000 Chinese consumers and have been designed to suit the skin of 90 percent of this group. An FT Confidential Survey showed that Korean beauty brands are holding strong among China’s most popular cosmetics brands, catching up to US and European companies. The survey states that while L’Oréal remains the most purchased of all brands at 19.2 percent, the number of respondents who chose American and European brands, 76.1 percent, is down 5.2 percent from last year.
