This installment of Beauty Scene highlights upcoming celebrity skin care ranges from stars who’ve already seen success in makeup, including Kylie Jenner, Rihanna and Huda Kattan. Here, details on each highly-anticipated launch.

Kylie Jenner Skin Care
In a classic move of a sibling spilling secrets, earlier this month Khloe Kardashian posted Kylie Jenner’s new Setting Spray to Instagram Stories. “I’m so excited for Kylie’s skin care line, you guys,” she said, revealing the news.

Beauty sleuths were aware, however, that a Kylie skin care line was in the works several months prior. Blogger Trademark Ninja reported in October that the star had applied for both “Kylie Skin by Kylie Jenner” and “Kylie Skin” trademarks for a variety of complexion products. The brand’s inaugural product, Setting Spray, hit virtual shelves April 12. It sells on kyliecosmetics.com for $24.

Fenty Launches Skin Care
Published reports are saying that “Fenty Skin” was officially listed as a trademark on the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s website on March 25. The trademarks filed include “medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators.” The “Fenty Skin” trademark application was just approved, but is still pending review and official sign off from an attorney, according to reports.

Huda Kattan Breaks Into Skin Care
In December 2018, Huda Kattan revealed that a skin care collection was under way. But since then, she hasn’t shared any information about her foray into skincare — until last week. Via Instagram Stories last Wednesday, Huda revealed that her new skin care range is coming soon and that the products have changed her life.

“I’ve been getting a lot of comments on my skin, and I don’t have good skin so it’s nice that you see all the hard work I’m putting into it,” she said. “We’re working on skin care, and it’s been changing my skin… I cannot even tell you guys.”

Huda noted that she had some bad experiences during the product development phase of her new line. “I had a lot of breakouts from trying things but my skin is finally getting into a good place.” As always, it takes many iterations to achieve an amazing product, and of course, an amazing range.
