Influencers inarguably play a fundamental role in a brand’s sales funnel process, from awareness to point of sale. While the names of established influencers are already well-known, looking ahead there are a new crop of influencers expected to take over screens in 2019. To help brands identify and begin relationship building with breakthrough talent, CEW has partnered with Preen.Me to identify a list of 100 up-and-coming influencers across the makeup and skin care categories.
Leveraging Preen.Me’s Proprietary Methodology, the top 100 were selected from an original pool of 50,000 U.S.-based micro and mid-tier influencers ranging from 25,000 to 500,000 followers and were narrowed down using a multi-factor algorithm to assess effective social influence. The evaluation of the influencers went beyond follower sizes — Preen.Me’s algorithm looked at factors such as level of audience engagement, quality of engagement, impact of video posts on Instagram and YouTube and performance of branded content.
The list is made up of 60 makeup and 40 skin care influencers, who have a cumulative follower reach on Instagram of 11,234,594. From their artful flat lays, to their effortless cat eye tutorials,

The influencers will be invited to attend and mix with media and beauty brands at CEW’s annual Product Demo on Feb 28, and the final winners will be announced at the annual Beauty Awards luncheon on May 17.
