Elana Drell-Szyfer has been named Senior Vice President, Glansaol, a member of the firm’s executive leadership team. The new role was announced late December, following the acquisition of Laura Geller Beauty, among other brands, by Glansaol. The beauty and personal care firm was founded in 2015 by beauty industry veteran, Alan T. Ennis, and global private equity firm, Warburg Pincus. Elana remains CEO of Laura Geller Beauty, and will “over time will take on additional responsibility at the portfolio company level,” she told Beauty Insider. Along with the other brand founders which were acquired, which include Julep’s Jane Park and Clark’s Botanicals’ Francesco Clark, she is a member of Alan’s executive leadership team. In terms of Laura Geller Beauty, “business is as usual, we keep our offices, our team, etcetera,” Elana said.
