has left data firm The NPD Group effective May 31. Karen most recently held the Global Beauty Industry Analyst role and had been with NPD for 15 years. She was highly regarded in the beauty industry as a source for beauty trends and predictions.

Also moving on is Elana Drell-Szyfer, most recently CEO at Laura Geller Beauty, LLC/ SVP Glansaol, whose last day at Laura Geller was Friday, May 26. Elana remains on the boards of Tengram’s Nest, This Works and Cos Bar brands. Alan Ennis, President and Chief Executive Officer at Glansaol, Laura Geller’s parent, is serving as interim brand CEO.

Ever Skincare – part of Stella & Dot Family Brands – has announced three key executive appointments to help position the brand for fast growth and category expansion. Paula Floyd has joined as Vice President of Sales and Field Development. Paula was most recently SVP of Retail for Urban Decay. Julie Shown has also joined Ever as Vice President of Product Development. Julie most recently held the position of Director of Product Development for bareMinerals. And, Melanie Meer has been tapped to oversee North America marketing, social media and consumer engagement as Ever’s Director of Marketing. Melanie joins Ever from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, where she most recently served as Director of North America Marketing and Trade Marketing. All three executives will report to Ani Hadjinian, who joined Ever in September 2016 as General Manager. Natalie Sutter-Schlemer, a member of Ever’s existing team, will remain Vice President, Global Product Development.
