HatchBeauty Brands has acquired Trendalytics, the consumer analytics platform that aggregates millions of signals across search and social to predict consumer trends across the fashion and beauty industries. Trendalytics, founded in 2013, provides services for a range of companies including Ulta Beauty, Free People, and Ross Stores. It will become a subsidiary of HatchBeauty Brands with no changes made to its ongoing business, team or client services.

Since 2019, Trendalytics has powered HatchBeauty Brands’ Trend Lab through multiple product development and incubation projects. The two companies also collaborated on a series of trend reports in 2020: Here + Now, Beauty in a Post COVID-19 Economy and Wellness For All: How the Wellness Movement is Changing The Face of Beauty Forever. HatchBeauty Brand looks to further utilize the predictive data and retail analytics to identify consumer needs and drive future innovation.
