Looking to create a platform on the East Coast, Cosmopack, a leading trade show for the beauty industry’s supply chain, will be making its New York debut on Sept. 22 – Sept. 23 at the Trump Soho Hotel. The Cosmopack New York Symposium will look to serve as a networking and training workshop for attendees, which include 50 international packaging, formula and supply companies, Made in Italy brands and retail buyers.

Cosmopack, part of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, already has a foothold in the U.S. with Cosmoprof North America, which it organizes in partnership with the Professional Beauty Association.

The event will open with a presentation by Euromonitor International on the distinctive features of the American market. Educational sessions featuring leading executives from cosmetic and retail firms will follow, as will round table panels aimed at enabling key participants to exchange opinions. Three noteworthy panels (two of which were produced in partnership with the Independent Cosmetics Manufacturers and Distributors Association, ICMAD) will analyze the best strategies to face the U.S. beauty market.
