Love is the air this month—so they say—but it can also be found in a slew of pampering products. Our passionate affair with the beauty industry just got a little deeper thanks to these Valentine’s Day-inspired items.

It’s The Little Things
For the lover of little objects, Physicians Formula’s Happy Booster Glow & Mood-Boosting Illuminating Bronzing Veil is all about therapy, be it color, texture or aroma ($13.95). The hearts smell like violet, to encourage feelings of joy, and are made with arctic rose, which is said to mimic the effect of endorphins. The mini bronzers also contain Omega-3, a dopamine enhancer, which promotes happiness.

My Valentine

Double your love luck with Laura Geller Beauty’s Baked Heart Blush-n-Highlight. Released in January, and appropriately called Pink Valentine, a heart-shaped sparkling champagne gold highlighter is perfectly placed inside a peachy pink blusher ($27.50). Made in Italy, baked items start out as liquid pigments, which are baked for 24 hours on terracotta tiles and then hand-finished by Italian artisans.

Chocolate Affair

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush ($30) offers three individual color swatches in one pan so you can blend them together or wear them solo. Too Faced also released their Chocolate Bar palette, which begs flirtation by batting your freshly – not to mention almost edible — covered eyelids. Fashioned by founder Jerrod Blandino who, after having a chocolate facial and learning about the benefits of cocoa at a Hawaiian spa, created the Chocolate Bar eye shadow collection, including 16 matte and shimmer shades of high-pigment formulas in natural browns, delicate pinks and luscious plums. Made from 100% natural cocoa powder, it not only offers powerful antioxidants to protect and soothe skin, but it also exudes the scent of chocolate – which specialists say can act as a mood enhancer, or make you crave something sweet. Cocoa powder is also found in their Chocolate Soleil and Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzers, as well.

Smooth Operator

You don’t want to give love the brush off, but it might help to exfoliate your rough edges in order to make some room for that chance encounter. Shea Terra Organics, a natural skin care line featuring indigenous ingredients from Africa, offers a Shea Butter & Malawi Sugar 2-in-1 Dark Chocolate Body Scrub, $18, which is made with premium dark chocolate, glycolic acid and age-defying antioxidants.Their Shea Butter Extreme Body Crème White Chocolate ($16) is made with organic cocoa, pure vanilla and freshly pressed aloe vera juice to create a pampering, healing experience. It’s the perfect antidote after you’ve shed your skin.

Swept Away

Puckering up is easier with Kiss Me Tonight, Philosophy’s intense lip therapy that relieves and softens lips while reducing the appearance of fine lines ($21). Unconditional Love might come your way if you use their shampoo, bath and shower gel. Ingredients such as black raspberry, white lily and cashmere vanilla were added into the product to help “envelope one in love and happiness from head to toe” ($24).Released last month, the newest addition to the family is Loveswept perfume. With notes including bergamot and blue violet flower, jasmine, lotus blossom, purple passion fruit and warm musk, you’re sure to leave an adoring trail for wooed admires to follow, ($46).
