K-Beauty is proving to be a worldwide phenomenon, as Korean skin care and cosmetics products have increased in popularity among Latin American consumers, reports The Korean Times. Despite the region’s beauty market experiencing a 31.5 percent decline in 2016, sales of made-in-Korea beauty products rose 268 percent over the last three years. Facial mask packs, whitening creams and low-priced items are listed as the most in-demand items, as Latin American consumers are becoming increasingly influenced by Korean dramas, movies and music.
