Several executive changes have occurred at Bliss World, including the departure of Mike Indursky, its former President.

After more than six years, “Mike decided to step down to embark on a new venture,” the company said. Laura Lang, a member of the Steiner Leisure Limited Board, Bliss’ parent company, and the former CEO of Time Inc. and Digitas, will act as interim President while a search for Mike’s replacement is conducted.

“It has been an honor to lead Bliss’ talented and dedicated team for the past six years, and I am proud of what we accomplished together to position Bliss as the global leader in spa innovation and service. Given Bliss’ strong position in the industry today, now is the right time for me to transition to my next opportunity,” Mike said.

Steiner Leisure Limited, the parent of Bliss and other skin care brands, was sold to consumer-focused private equity firm, Catterton, in the fourth quarter of 2015 for $925 million. Prior to Bliss, Mike oversaw and built Burt’s Bees into a consumer products powerhouse, which was sold to Clorox for, coincidentally, $920 million.

Leonard Fluxman, CEO of Steiner Leisure Limited, stated, “We want to thank Mike for his vision and leadership at Bliss, which have been instrumental in establishing our company as a global leader in spa innovation and service. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

Mike is currently working on several high-end projects in multiple categories under a firm called Audacity LLC.
