Nathalie Gerschtein has been appointed President, Consumer Products Division, L’Oréal USA, effective March 1. She will succeed Michel Brousset, who has left the company to pursue personal entrepreneurial activities.

“I would like to thank Michel Brousset for his leadership over the past three years as the Consumer Products Division evolved its go-to-market strategy. Michel has enhanced our customer partnerships and set the Division on a strong course for continued business acceleration in the future,” said Frédéric Rozé, President and Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal USA and Executive Vice President of the Americas Zone.

Nathalie has been with L’Oréal for 17 years. She has held several key positions within L’Oréal’s Consumer Products Division, including overseeing Garnier’s brand marketing for the European zone and serving as General Manager of L’Oréal Paris and Garnier in India. In 2013, she became head of the Consumer Products Division in Thailand and then Country Manager. In June 2018, she joined L’Oréal USA as President, Maybelline New York, Garnier and essie, a role which will now be succeeded by Alanna McDonald, who is currently President, L’Oréal Canada Consumer Products Division.

“Nathalie’s business acumen and vast experience within the Consumer Products Division will be a critical asset in driving strong acceleration of our omni-channel strategy,” said Frédéric. “Her expertise in eCommerce, her vision to reinvent the in-store environment and her deep knowledge of the very strategic skincare category make Nathalie the perfect candidate to realize the modern, strategic direction of the Consumer Products Division in the U.S.”
