La Prairie’s Anti-Aging Rapid Response Booster, their most accelerated anti-wrinkle serum to-date, launches this month and promises an impressive facial improvement in only 14 days. Using a unique “GPS-like” delivery system, the gel-serum sends anti-wrinkle ingredients deep into the skin so powerful new actives can work with precision and speed to support and target cells responsible for collagen and elastin production. At the same time it rebuilds wrinkled areas and retexturizes for a smoother, lineless look. It retails for $290.

Leaders in photo protection, La Roche-Posay is launching Anthelios Aox, a 2-in-1 anti-aging serum containing SPF 50. The first anti-aging serum with UVA/UVB protection, it removes the need to layer products in order to protect skin. Leaders in photo protection, this is their biggest launch since 2008 when La Roche-Posay released Anthelios 60 Shaka Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid with Cell-Ox Shield. This, too, was groundbreaking as the highly formulated technology contained emulsifiers, that when shaken, activated ingredients which produced a fast, penetrating fluid which contained dual protection and powerful anti-oxidants, among other benefits. It retails for $42.50.

April’s showers bring May’s flowers, or for Amarte, the month offers the release of their Overnight Express Therapy, $79, a sleeping mask that hydrates, softens, firms and adds luminosity. One of the few sleep masks to hit the market to contain silk fibroin, other ingredients include propolis, nano-encapsulated retinol and bioactive peptides. Silk fibrion acts similar to a sponge-like matrix that slowly releases the mask’s peptides, retinol and antioxidants, all of which increase cellular activity and collagen-producing dermal fibroblasts while tightening the skin. Debuting in Korea in 2001, the company also released four different collection sets, available in May, which will retail from $97 to $275.

While the price is hefty—$450—it may feel good to know that since 2008 La Mer has donated $2.6 million to help promote ocean conservation efforts.
