OK, we admit it, CEW Beauty Insider is slightly obsessed with Katie Holmes. So we just had to share a preview of her image in upcoming ads for her partnership with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Set to launch in February magazines, Katie is the first-ever celebrity to front the makeup brand, which features her wearing Bobbi Brown’s new Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks in Violet Plum and Bark. The sticks, formulated to glide on and shade, define, smoke up and highlight eyes, will be available at Bobbi Brown counters next month and will retail for $28.
The first iteration of the partnership will also appear in light boxes, on-counter and with supporting editorial features. Additionally, Bobbi will be the lead makeup artist at the spring/summer 2013 Holmes & Yang Fashion Show, the eponymous line founded by Katie Holmes and celebrity stylist Jeanne Yang.
Katie has said she connects with Bobbi’s beauty philosophy.
“I think that while you don’t want to walk around depending on your beauty, it’s nice to have products out there that do help you when you haven’t slept enough, or if you’re going in to a big meeting and you’re a little nervous and it might be that tube of lipstick that gives you the extra dose of confidence you need.”
