K-Beauty retailer Soko Glam has launched its first brick-and-motor experience, Soko House, with the goal of bringing education, skin care and community under one roof in NYC’s SoHo neighborhood. Located at 43 Crosby Street, the pink-themed, bi-level, 2,500 square-foot space opened its doors June 28 with a curated selection of Soko Glam’s four star-rated products. The shoppable brands include more than 400 products from brands such as CosRx, NeoGen, Klairs and Son & Park. Unique to the retail model is Soko Sanctuary, a personal skin fitting room area, complete with mirrors and sinks, where consumers can test and play with their selected items of interest behind curtains.

“Skin care is a very personal journey and our community looks to us as a trusted source to decode and de-mystify the skin care experience for them,” said Charlotte Cho, Co-Founder of Soko Glam. “Through Soko Sanctuary, we want to empower our customers by giving them a personal space to experience our curated products. We know now, more than ever, consumers are eager to research and become their own skin experts. We fully believe armed with the right education and products, they can be– and we are making it our mission to help all people believe there are only good (skin) days ahead.”

Keeping with traditional pop-up experiences, there are several Instagramabale moments including a mirrored tunnel and photogenic staircase leading to the private rooms. While browsing, customers have the option to receive consultations from the Soko Concierge staff, and will have access to purchase new collections launching simultaneously on Soko Glam’s website.

For its duration, the space will serve as a hub for storytelling, empowerment and advocacy through educational events hosted by cofounder Charlotte Cho and skin care experts from the company’s online magazine, The Klog. Additional highlights of the pop up include beauty master classes, meet and greet opportunities with influencers and brand specific events.

Soko House will be open daily from until August 18 from 12pm to 7pm. For more information, please visit www.sokoglam.com.
