Kelly Vanasse is CCO and Senior Vice President of P&G’s Global Beauty, Grooming and Health businesses, as well as Influencer Marketing capability for the Company. She has communications/public relations leadership responsibility for a broad portfolio valued at $20b, including such iconic global brands as Olay, SKII, Pantene, Secret, Old Spice, Head & Shoulders, Herbal Essences, Crest, Metamucil, Gillette, Braun, and Venus.
Kelly is a champion for innovation, rigorous measurement, and inclusive, collaborative leadership. She sets a high bar for business-building impact, challenging her colleagues and herself to deliver returns that exceed traditional marketing and advertising programs and drive investment in Influencer and Public Relations. As a result, she has deep passion for growing talent and building capability – and invests a substantial part of her time coaching and supporting the growth of people in her global organization.
She brings more than 30 years of communications and public relations experience to her role, with expertise in brand public relations, stakeholder and professional communications, issues and crisis management, community relations, corporate communications, speech-writing and internal communications.
Kelly joined P&G in 2000 through the acquisition of the Iams Company, where she developed and led professional influencer marketing programs. She later helped lead the integration of Gillette, which P&G acquired in 2005; helped build P&G’s Beauty & Grooming business as a senior communications leader; led Global Brand Communications at P&G; and now leads Global Beauty, Grooming, Health, and Influencer Marketing capability for P&G given its significance on brand building and sales.
Kelly holds a music degree from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. She is married, with a son, a daughter, two cats and a dog, and resides in Cincinnati, OH.
