Cosmetic Executive Women France
(CEW France)

Founded in 1986, CEW France has approximately 270 members - many with high positions in the cosmetic industry.

CEW France offers a range of events with experts cosmetic industry leaders -- who give members the inside story on different subjects affecting beauty business careers.

CEW France also sponsors business trips to foreign countries such as India, China, Russia and the US. They have Newsmaker Forums as well, which feature prominent business leaders who speak about pressing industry issues.

CEW France founded "les Centres de Beauté de CEW France - " a charity providing 19 beauticians who give free beauty care to sick women in hospitals. Needless to say, beauty and cosmetics can play a key role in a woman’s recovery from illness.

Cosmetic Executive Women United Kingdom (CEW UK)

Founded in 1992, CEW (UK) adheres to the mission of advancing the professional growth and leadership development of women in the cosmetic industry.

 

The 500 strong membership of CEW (UK) includes executive women in the cosmetic, fragrance and hairdressing industries and related fields such as advertising, public relations, product development, marketing, media, finance, sales, retail, management and design and packaging. These women hold entry level, middle-management and senior management positions and all enjoy attending CEW's events for the invaluable networking opportunities these events offer.

CEW (UK)’s aim is to help women network, raise their visibility within the beauty industry and attend educational seminars. To this end, CEW (UK) manages a program of events every year where industry leaders, women role models and celebrity speakers share their incredible experiences and insights.

The Achiever Awards were launched in the UK in 2004 to recognize women who have achieved tremendous success in their own career and who have contributed significantly to the growth of the beauty industry and the advancement of women.

In 2006, the CEW Beauty Awards were introduced in the UK to recognize innovation and creativity in beauty products.

A trade organization with a charitable arm, CEW (UK) raises money for Cancer and Careers, CEW's own independent initiative supporting women with cancer who wish to continue to work.
