Givaudan’s Xavier Renard, Jennifer Habay, and Matthieu Befve

CEW kicked off its first member’s-only networking event of 2025 with CEW x Givaudan Member Meetup, a mixer where attendees could immerse themselves in three specially designed activations created to engage the senses and inspire innovation. Hosted by Givaudan’s North America Fine Fragrance Head of Sales, Jennifer Habay, Givaudan’s top leadership was in attendance, including Xavier Renard, Global Head of Fine Fragrance, and Matthieu Befve, Head of Fine Fragrance North America. Created exclusively for CEW members, Givaudan’s first activation showcased Givaudan’s Delight program, a unique initiative where perfumers and flavorists collaborated to create true-to-taste fragrances that evoke the rich and authentic scents of beloved flavors. CEW members had the opportunity to explore how scent and taste intertwine to enhance consumer experiences. The second activation transported attendees to a rustic sugar shack, capturing the nostalgic essence of a traditional maple sugaring process. The warm, inviting aromas of fresh maple syrup and simmering sap elicited the comforting charm of this seasonal ritual. Finally, Givaudan’s Active Beauty division featured inclusive beauty consumer insights, offering a dive into the beauty ingredients space. This initiative emphasized diversity, sustainability, and innovation, reflecting the evolving landscape of modern beauty. To make the evening even more memorable, the Givaudan team crafted a custom candle for attendees, featuring celebratory notes of sparkling prosecco and tart raspberry purée.
