Beauty with Benefits, CEW’s landmark annual fundraising event with QVC in support of Cancer and Careers [CAC], is back. An outpouring of products — more than 525,000 units donated from both indie and legacy brands— will fuel this year’s multiplatform event and live two-hour broadcast. CAC provides workplace support for people with cancer, helping them stay on the job and in the workforce.

Select Beauty with Benefits products will be available beginning May 1 on QVC.com and the live Beauty with Benefits broadcast will be held May 16 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. Past campaigns have generated millions of dollars in sales of skin care, hair care, nail care, color cosmetics, and fragrance with 70% of the purchase price* benefiting Cancer and Careers. Long-time brand donors bareMinerals, IT Cosmetics, Josie Maran, Laura Geller, Mally Beauty, Perricone MD, tarte, WEN by Chaz Dean, and Briogeo have returned for this year’s event. These brands are joined by a full line-up of indies including Caire Beauty, Gleem Beauty, Hey Honey, Pixi Beauty, Skinfix, and Timeless Skin Care, among others.

Quick product sell-outs are expected, thanks in part to a coveted gift with purchase [GWP], which this year is a collection of nine beauty products in a branded tote valued at more than $175**. Inside the tote, shoppers will discover treats from Sunday Riley, philosophy, TULA, Aveeno, and Supergoop!

Shoppers will feel good knowing that their purchase has powerful results. “The connection is direct,” says Rebecca Nellis, Executive Director of Cancer and Careers. “Make a purchase and survivors will get the workplace support they need. Whether it’s career coaching, access to technology, or time with a social worker, Beauty with Benefits ensures people with cancer can make informed decisions about work — and they won’t have to do it alone.”

Championing the event is Mally Roncal, celebrity makeup artist, beauty newsmaker, and founder of Mally Beauty. Mally returns as a spokesperson armed with a passion and energy that is all her own. She will be featured in several QVC videos, sharing her excitement for the campaign and her connection to the cause.

Beauty with Benefits will be promoted across QVC’s digital, streaming, and social platforms with a special pre-show event on Facebook Live to mark this extraordinary collaboration. To date, Beauty with Benefits has raised over $16 million.

“The beauty industry has always been big hearted,” Rebecca notes. “This year’s tremendous support of the campaign is a love letter to Cancer and Careers. We are touched — and those who count on us will be, too.”
