In breaking news, Avon International is for sale, following the release of its Q2 results. Natura &Co, which owns the cosmetics company, confirmed in a statement that “strategic alternatives for Avon International continue to progress, and all necessary requirements were met to classify the business unit as an asset held for sale.”

In other business headlines, FSN E-Commerce Ventures — owner of the Indian beauty company, Nykaa — has seen more than a two-fold increase in its quarterly profit for the three-month period to June 30, 2025. The boost was “driven by new brand partnerships and resilient demand for cosmetics and skincare,” according to Global Cosmetics News.

Ashley Tisdale’s beauty brand, Being Frenshe, has revealed that the company is expanding into “lip wellness,” following the viral success of its hair care range. The lip products are due to launch on September 18. Greek skin care company Korres has been named the official skincare brand of Mamma Mia!, for the show’s limited Broadway revival run this month. The partnership is being promoted via the brand’s website, and on its social media platforms. In international news, Irish skin care company Voya has promoted Andrew Darmody to the role of Commercial and Operations GM, with a focus on its global drive and growth.

Nykaa Owner Reports Two-Fold Profit Increase. Its net profit increased to 233.2 million rupees ($2.66 million) from 96.4 million rupees a year earlier. “Revenue from the beauty business grew 24% to 19.75 billion rupees, supported by the addition of high-end brands including Chanel, Korean skincare label Aestura, and sunscreen maker Supergoop,” according to Global Cosmetics News.
