La Beauté Louis Vuitton Launches, Miu Miu Drops First Scent Under L’Oréal License, Prestige Fragrance And Hair Care Get 6% Boost In H1, Coty Q4 Expected To Come In Line, Ulta Beauty And Target Split, True Beauty Ventures’ Cristina Nuñez Talks To Anchin’s Carolyn Naporlee-Cipolla, Why 'Vibe Marketing’ Is A Thing, Experiment Enters Sephora, Gisou Taps Rosie Huntington-Whiteley As Global Ambassador

Louis Vuitton has unveiled its hotly awaited cosmetics range, with veteran makeup artist and makeup visionary Dame Pat McGrath DBE at the helm as Creative Director. La Beauté Louis Vuitton will be available for pre-orders from August 25, with the LV Rouge collection of refillable, satin finish lipsticks taking center stage. Meanwhile, Miu Miu has debuted its first scent created under license with L’Oréal. Miutine launches worldwide on Thursday, with Emma Corrin as the face of the fragrance.

Speaking of scent, CEW’s Andrea Nagel reports on the 6% growth of prestige fragrance and hair care in H1, according to Circana. “Notably, sales accelerated in the second quarter compared to the first quarter, with new fragrance brand launches playing a significant role in growth,” writes Nagel, who breaks down the details in our special report. Meanwhile, Coty Q4 fiscal results are expected to come in line, with analysts predicting growth to improve in 2026 — with fragrance as a key driver — according to Global Cosmetics News.

Also here at CEW, Anchin’s Carolyn Naporlee-Cipolla sits down with Cristina Nuñez of True Beauty Ventures, to discuss brand resilience, investor red flags, and more. Meanwhile, following the announcement that Ulta Beauty and Target are parting ways, Beauty Matter has a report on the split. The retailers will not renew their shop-in-shop post-August 2026, with in-store and online experiences remaining unchanged until that time. In other retail news, at Sephora, the science-driven skin care range Experiment has made its debut.

In marketing news, Business Of Fashion (BoF) unpacks the ‘Vibe Marketing’ trend it says is taking over beauty. “Generative AI is being adopted across the beauty industry to create everything from product images to formulas themselves, based on prompted ‘vibes,'” BoF reports. Meanwhile, Gisou has tapped British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as its Global Ambassador.
