Molly Sims’ Yse Beauty Brand Achieves $15 Million Series A Funding, Beiersdorf Makes Its Debut In Japan, Flower Knows Enters Ulta Beauty, Revieve Exceeds Expectations At Faces, Ethical Beauty Is Booming

In breaking news, Molly Sims’ beauty brand, YSE Beauty, has secured a $15 million Series A funding round. “Molly Sims had a successful 2025, with her brand YSE Beauty launching exclusively in Sephora,” reports WWD. “Now, she is entering 2026 in an even stronger position as YSE closed a $15 million Series A funding round led by investment partner Silas Capital, with participation from L Catterton and existing investors Willow Growth Partners and Halogen Ventures.”

Beiersdorf has made its dermatological skin care debut in Japan. “The rollout is led by the Eucerin HARI FILLER anti-aging range, developed specifically for Japanese consumers by NIVEA-Kao,” reports Global Cosmetics News. “The premium line is positioned at the intersection of dermatological efficacy and high-sensory skin care, reflecting local consumer expectations around performance, texture and formulation quality.” Meanwhile, the Chinese Beauty (C-beauty) brand Flower Knows has entered Ulta Beauty. 

Here at CEW today, we report on the positive response to Revieve’s AI-Powered Skin Advisor, created in partnership with Faces, the Middle East beauty retailer, since its launch in January. “We’ve seen strong engagement across our digital platforms,” Darine Sabbagh, General Manager, E-commerce and Digital, Faces, told CEW’s Andrea Nagel. “More importantly, we’ve been able to offer intelligent, personalized guidance to customers with the Revieve Skin Advisor who may have felt overwhelmed or under-informed about skin care.”

In sustainable beauty headlines, the personal care industry has seen an increase in the  number of ethical labels launching, according to Happi. “New research from Ecovia Intelligence reveals that there are now around 100 ethical labels worldwide, each with its own sustainability and ethical criteria,” it reports.
