In honor of Women’s History Month, Ashley Feinstein Gerstley addresses why we need women need to be more wealthy, in her latest CEW column, Money Matters With The Fiscal Femme. “Long story short, we need women to be wealthy,” writes Feinstein Gerstley, who outlines five steps building wealth – from paying yourself first, to growing your menu through investment. 

Speaking of female investments, swisstrade.com reports that The FE+MALE Think Tank is expanding its Beat Funding Bias Initiative (BFBI) to promote gender-diverse investments. Launched in 2023, the Zurich-based initiative is launching new services and opening up to new partners, in an effort to bring about systemic change for sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

For the next chapter of its #UndefineBeauty campaign, Coty hosted a cross-industry roundtable which set out to “underscore our resolve to create beauty for everyone,” according to Sue Nabi, Coty CEO. “Our goal is to help each person feel their most beautiful self.” The company is inviting companies to get on board with the #UndefineBeauty movement, by signing a petition on change.org.

In fragrance news, Interparfums SA, the subsidiary of Interparfums, Inc., has bought all worldwide intellectual property rights relating to Maison Goutal, held by Amorepacific Europe. From 2026 onwards, Interparfums SA will develop the Goutal Brand. “The acquisition of the Goutal brand reflects our strategy of broadening our product offering to include high-end fragrances,” said Jean Madar, Chairman & CEO of Interparfums. “This brand, known for iconic lines such as L’Eau d’Hadrien and Petite Chérie, has substantial potential in this highly dynamic segment.”

On the skin care front, Augustinus Bader is introducing sun protection to its range on today, with the launch of The Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50, in the US, and The Sunscreen SPF 50, in the EU and U.K.. “It is a very important product,” Professor Bader told WWD. “Many customers wanted it, of course, so we started early on, but it just took four years because we wanted it to be clean with no compromise to the client.”

In markets news, Natura & Co has announced its Q4 results for fiscal 2024. Net revenue increased by 16.1% in the last three months of the year in comparison to the previous year, to Brazilian BRL7.7 billion.
