O’Brien’s vision, which centers on the healing power of touch, has been realized at the company’s four spas and through an expanding network of partners nationwide. In collaboration with Mount Sinai, Naturopathica aestheticians now also provide oncology relief massages directly to cancer patients. “Last fall, O’Brien received her own diagnosis of Stage 1 breast cancer, making her not just an advocate but also a patient benefiting from the very work she is championing,” writes CEW reporter Kate Sullivan, who spoke to O’Brien for our special report.
Puig has reported an 11% increase in sales for Q3, beating expectations. Based in Barcelona, the firm whose portfolio includes fragrance brands Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, and Jean Paul Gaultier, posted net sales for the three-months ending September 30 at 1.26 billion euros (or $1.35 billion at current exchange). Dior opens the doors to it first U.S. beauty store in SoHo, New York today. “Our North Star is brand desirability, and building Christian Dior Parfums into the most desirable, number one, leading luxury fashion beauty house in the U.S.,” said Charlotte Holman Ros, president of North America of Christian Dior Parfums. “We’ve set out some very clear strategic priorities around building that and securing leadership in all key categories.” Meanwhile, Pamela Anderson is debuting her first Cleansing Mousse for Sonsie, her cruelty-free skin care brand, inspired by her rose garden.
