The finalists for the 2024 CEW Beauty Awards have been announced!
Last night, on the evening of September 19, attendees to CEW’s Beauty Expo learned firsthand who the finalists are to this year’s awards program. Held at The Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan, more than 1,000 industry insiders got to play, test out, and try the approximate 315 finalist products across 40 categories. In addition to revealing the finalists, the event featured many beauty activations, such as booths by CVS Pharmacy, US Soy, Evolus, and Drunk Elephant, where guests received beauty services, product demonstrations, and giveaways. All attendees left with a gift bag valued at over $1,100.
To keep the program relevant to beauty’s changing trends, new categories were added this year, including Home Scent, Gender Neutral Scent, Natural/Textured Hair Care Product, Indie Make-Up Product, and Indie Scent.
Category sponsors include Raymond James for the Indie Category, dsm-firmenich for the Sustainability Excellence Award, and New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists for The Supplier’s Award: Ingredients & Formulation.
Voting for the program’s winners begins now and ends October 10 (links to product descriptions and images to inform votes are available on cew.org’s finalist pages).
After casting votes, the beauty industry is encouraged to purchase tickets to CEW’s Beauty Awards Luncheon on November 21st in NYC where this year’s winners will be announced. The program always sells out so buy tickets sooner rather than later.
