Ali Kole leads Premium Beauty for Amazon, helping create the most trusted destination for consumers to discover and fill all their beauty needs, and for brands to connect with and serve beauty customers. She has led Amazon to become a top prestige beauty retailer by recruiting new brands, rolling out an elevated digital shopping experience for brands, and optimizing marketing and operations. Ali began her Amazon tenure at Amazon Web Services, where she advised health and beauty companies on digital transformation, data strategy and retail media network optimization.
Ali comes to Amazon with two decades of experience creating, acquiring and growing beauty and retail brands, as a CEO, advisor and investor. Her experience includes eight years at LVMH as the SVP of Strategy & Business Development at Sephora, co-founding beauty brand incubator Kendo, and acquiring and building multiple beauty brands including serving as CEO and board member, Ole Henriksen. Before pivoting to beauty, Ali spent 10 years at Microsoft in digital media and ecommerce, founded and sat on the board of three digital media and ecommerce JVs, and was a consultant with McKinsey and with Bain. She holds an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School.
