Carolyn Bojanowski
Executive Vice President, Merchandising, US SephoraCarolyn Bojanowski is the Executive Vice President of Merchandising at Sephora. In her role, Carolyn is responsible for driving Sephora’s product vision and ensuring market leadership through product differentiation across the makeup, skincare, fragrance, hair, and wellness categories, as well as Sephora’s in house brand, Sephora Collection. She is also a member of Sephora’s Operating Committee.
Since joining Sephora in 2005, Carolyn has held a variety of leadership positions across merchandising, marketing, and digital. She began her career at Sephora as a Dotcom Merchant and transitioned to Brand Marketing, where she played a vital role in the introduction of Sephora’s best-in-class Beauty Insider Loyalty program. Following her marketing role, Carolyn became the Director of Clinical Skincare Retail Merchandising, and later leading as the Vice President of Dotcom Merchandising and .CA. During her time in Canada, she set up their first in-country distribution center, before returning to the US to lead Sephora’s dotcom merchandising.
Most recently, Carolyn was responsible for Sephora’s E-commerce business and led her team through incredible growth and innovation, especially at the height of COVID-19, that further enhanced Sephora’s online client experience. Her teams led the launch of Same-Day Delivery, Live Beauty Help, Buy Online Pick Up In-Store (BOPIS), as well as digital collaborations, such as Klarna and others.
Outside of Sephora, Carolyn serves on the board of directors for Genesco Inc., a footwear and accessories specialty retailer. Prior to joining Sephora, Carolyn worked in merchandising at Gap Inc. She received her BA at Wellesley College, where she majored in English and Spanish Literature. Carolyn currently lives near San Francisco with her husband and two sons.
