Dr. Belkin is a double board-certified dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon who specializes in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology at the New York Dermatology Group. In addition to a strong foundation in medical dermatology, he has experience in a wide range of lasers, energy-based devices, surgical techniques, and injectables, allowing him to approach aging, aesthetics, and skin health in a creative and comprehensive manner. He has been voted a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly, one of America’s Best Cosmetic Dermatologists by Newsweek, and a Super Doctors Rising Star by the New York Times Magazine.
After receiving his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, he trained in dermatology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Mohs and procedural dermatology at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York. He has authored several textbook chapters on dermatologic surgery and multiple original articles. He has been a media expert for both television and print publications including Good Day New York, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, People, Allure, Elle, InStyle, and Town&Country. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
