CEW: Why is CEW membership important to you?

Eve Gurevich: I believe it’s important for women to have a platform like CEW in order to connect without the awkwardness of cold out reach. I also appreciate its mentor/mentee aspect because you can learn so much from someone who has been in the business longer than you.

CEW: Do you have any tips for getting the most out of CEW membership?

EG: As I mentioned, I’m especially looking forward to finding the right mentors to guide me in aspects of my business which I haven’t yet experienced. I also think taking full advantage of all the networking events and seminars will keep me on track as a new business owner.

CEW: What is the most exciting aspect of your current role?

EG: I absolutely love skincare and it’s amazing how far the beauty industry has come in revolutionizing laser aesthetics – I love not only learning from the vendors and engineers that I work with, but educating women on ways to look their best without doing fillers or injectables. Many women group laser aesthetics into “plastic surgery” and I love building awareness that you don’t have to go under the knife or even under the needle to have amazing skin!

CEW: How do you spend your time when you’re not working?

EG: Travel, travel, travel! I’ve recently developed an affinity for Asia since I go there a lot for business. There are so many beautiful places to explore! It’s amazing how Crazy Rich Asians gave westerners a glimpse into a country like Singapore, which most weren’t too familiar with. It’s absolutely beautiful and a stone’s throw from many Indonesian islands, which I love exploring. There is an amazing retreat called The Sanchaya in Bintan, just a ferry ride away from Singapore, and it’s absolute heaven! When I’m in New York my go to destination to refresh is St.Barth. There is nothing better for the body than fresh air and the sea! Of course, great healthy food doesn’t hurt either, which St. Barth has plenty of!
