Emmy Award-Winning Host, Producer, & Women’s Health AdvocateJeannie Mai is an Emmy Award-winning television host, producer, executive producer, entrepreneur, digital personality (YT channel, IG, TT), and advocate whose fearless authenticity, style, and heart have made her one of today’s most dynamic multi-hyphenates. Most recently, Jeannie appeared in and executive produced Apple TV docuseries, Balance, highlighting the importance of perimenopause education and awareness. From her work in women’s health, Jeannie was honored with the Women’s Health and Wellness Trailblazer of the Year Award by New You in 2026. She also has twice hosted WWD’s Real-Time Digital Show at the Golden Globes, serving as the head red carpet correspondent.
Jeannie hosted and served as executive producer of America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video. She also co-hosted CBS’ hit game show Raid The Cage and is a trusted voice on major live events — she was the Los Angeles emcee for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in both 2023 and 2024. In 2023, Jeannie captivated global audiences as host of the 71st and 72nd Miss Universe competitions in New Orleans and El Salvador.
As co-host and executive producer of the nationally syndicated talk show, The Real, for eight seasons, Jeannie earned a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host and an Emmy Award for producing, making her the first Vietnamese woman to win an Emmy. Throughout her tenure, she was celebrated for her unfiltered honesty, humor, and unique ability to connect with viewers. Her other credits include Dancing with the Stars, ABC’s Holey Moley, and her popular digital series Hello Hunnay, showcasing her flair for storytelling.
A recognized changemaker, Jeannie was named to the Gold House A100 list honoring the most impactful Asians in culture. She is a tireless advocate against sex trafficking, earning the 2019 Pioneer Woman of the Year award, and creating the award-winning documentaries Stopping Traffic and Stopping Traffic 2. As Chief Brand Officer of Owl’s Brew, Jeannie fuses entrepreneurship with purpose, helping steer the boozy tea brand’s rise in the beverage world.
