An established voice in beauty, Jessica Matlin is the Director of Beauty and Home at Moda
Operandi, and the co-founder and co-host of Fat Mascara.

At Moda Operandi, she created a destination for the most exciting established and
discovery brands in beauty. In 2024, she also took over the Home category. She currently
leads the merchandising strategy and shapes editorial for both businesses.

In 2016, Matlin introduced a category-defining show: Fat Mascara. With over 10 million
downloads, the Fat Mascara podcast started an entirely new conversation in beauty, breaking
down industry news and airing candid conversations with the most influential names in beauty,
from Bobbi Brown to Kim Kardashian, Jane Fonda to Jawara.

Prior to her appointment at Moda Operandi, Matlin was the Beauty Director of Harper’s
Bazaar.
