Kristina Friedman
Head of Sustainability, North America UnileverKristina Friedman serves as the Head of Sustainability for North America at Unilever. Where she works across the business in the US and Canada to help enable progress on the company’s global sustainability priorities: Climate, Nature, Plastics, and Livelihoods.
She has over 15 years of experience working in the corporate, financial, and government sectors providing guidance and solutions on impact-related topics, including a decade of environmental expertise. Prior to Unilever, she led the global environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy at PayPal, collaborating across the organization to establish and implement its ESG program. Ms. Friedman also previously worked at Calvert Research and Management as a lead ESG research analyst, and has held various roles at the US Environmental Protection Agency, US House of Representatives, and Citigroup.
She received her bachelor’s in finance from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and her master’s of public policy from Georgetown University. Outside of work, she is a proud auntie, a novice baker, and a passionate fan of professional basketball.
