Laney Crowell is the Founder and CEO of Saie, a leading force in clean, high-performance beauty exclusively sold at Sephora. Recognizing a gap in the market for makeup that was both luxurious, high-performing, and sustainable, Laney launched Saie in 2019 after a career working with major beauty brands, including Estée Lauder. Since then, Saie has become an award-winning industry disruptor, with multiple best selling products at Sephora and accolades from Vogue, Glamour, Allure, and more. Recently, Traackr recognized Saie as a top 20 makeup brand, underscoring its impact and influence. Laney’s leadership and innovation have also earned her features on Good Morning America, The Marie Forleo Podcast, and ELLE Magazine.

Beyond beauty, Laney is a passionate advocate for women’s rights and sustainability. She spearheaded The Every Body Campaign, the largest reproductive justice initiative the beauty industry has ever seen, mobilizing brands and voices in response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade. She also serves on multiple boards supporting sustainability, entrepreneurship, and women’s empowerment. Most recently, she was recognized to Inc.’s 2025 Female Founders 500 list, featuring her impact as a leader and changemaker.

Based in the Hamptons, Laney lives with her husband and two daughters, ages 5 and 8. Whether she’s at the beach with her family or driving innovation at Saie, she remains dedicated to creating products and initiatives that make people feel good—while being better for the planet.
