When Lauren Gores-Ireland and Marianna Hewitt first met nearly a decade ago, they already had a lot in common: both Libras and both Midwest-turned-Cali girls, they also shared a passion—ok, obsession—with all things beauty and self-care, spreading the word about the best ways to unwind or get glowing on their blogs and social media feeds. But then influencer-life had Marianna on a crazy-amazing travel schedule—and Lauren got the happy news she was pregnant with now-toddler, Evan. When the pair sized up the massive stash of beauty products they had been sent over the years they realized something was still missing. Something for busy women, just like them, who had no time for day spas and even less time for the toxic ingredients certain products were putting on their skin. That’s how Summer Fridays came to be: quick, effective, good-for-you skincare formulas that deliver a facialist-level glow starting with their sold-out Jet Lag Mask.
