Liz Kaplow is a visionary entrepreneur, a trusted advisor to the C-suite, and a champion for communications practitioners across every industry.

As Founder & CEO of Kaplow Communications, Liz reinvented the practice of public relations with a focus on storytelling when she opened her eponymous public relations agency more than two decades ago. She continues to reinvent the industry by integrating emerging technologies into traditional public relations practices. Liz currently leads Kaplow Communications to break new ground: with a redefined focus on storytelling for today’s social/digital world.  Liz also serves on the board of Cosmetic Executive Women, an organization for which Kaplow has served as the agency of record for more than two decades.  Her agency has counseled both heritage and challenger brands including Target, Microsoft, Laura Mercier CVS and 23andMe – who have been clients for a decade or longer.

Liz is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Her commitment to advancement for all employees has earned her agency a Top Places to Work in PR award.  Kaplow Communications’ international campaign work resulted in PRWeek’s Global Campaign of the Year.  Recognized throughout the industry for her leadership and insights, Liz has been honored by New York Women in Communications with its coveted Matrix Award, and by PR News with a Top Women in PR Award. She is a regular on the New York Observer’s PR Power List.  Liz was inducted into PRWeek’s Hall of Femme in 2020.

Liz studied English at Vassar College and graduated with honors.
