CEO TatchaMary Yee is the Chief Executive Officer of Tatcha, a global prestige skincare brand renowned for its innovative approach to beauty, rooted in timeless Japanese rituals. Since joining the company in 2021, Mary has accelerated the brand’s growth, expanding its presence to 17 markets worldwide. She brings a deep passion for brand-building and interactive technology to enhance consumer engagement. Under her leadership, Tatcha has continued to grow its loyal client base, driven by its transformational skincare, including the widely celebrated The Dewy Skin Cream.
Before Tatcha, Mary held leadership roles at Sony Interactive Entertainment, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing for PlayStation. She played a pivotal role in the global launch of PS5 in 2020, overseeing the most successful platform release in the company’s history, which solidified PlayStation’s leadership in gaming and its status as a cultural icon in digital entertainment.
Mary’s appointment at Tatcha marked her return to consumer products, following leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and The Clorox Company earlier in her career. Her broad expertise across beauty, technology, and consumer goods equips her with a unique ability to foster innovation and drive growth in dynamic, highly competitive industries.
Mary serves on the boards of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) and Podium Audio, an audio-first entertainment company. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
