Melis del Rey
CEO and Board Director Supergoop!Melis del Rey is Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of Supergoop!, where she is leading the company’s next phase of growth – expanding its position from a category leader in suncare to a globally relevant skincare brand, while strengthening distribution, brand equity, and strategic partnerships.
A seasoned global beauty and consumer executive, Melis brings more than two decades of leadership experience across companies including Amazon and Procter & Gamble. She spent over 11 years at Amazon, most recently serving as General Manager of U.S. Health & Beauty. In this role, she led a transformation of Amazon’s U.S. Beauty business from a replenishment-driven channel into a leading discovery destination—doubling the size of the business and onboarding more than 1,000 brands. She also oversaw global Beauty Tech product development and led selection, pricing, marketing, and insights across the U.S. Consumables organization.
Earlier in her career at Procter & Gamble, Melis held leadership roles across marketing and sales, building deep expertise in brand development, category strategy, and global execution. Melis is known for combining strategic clarity with operational rigor, with a track record spanning e-commerce acceleration, global brand building, and business transformation. She is recognized for building high-performing, customer-obsessed teams and forging long-term partnerships that unlock shared growth.
She holds a Ph.D. in New Product Development & Engineering Design and a B.Eng. in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management from The University of Nottingham (U.K.). She currently serves on the board of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), a leading non-profit advancing women’s leadership in the beauty industry.
