Melissa Guy is the Chief Revenue Officer of the Beauty and Style Group at Dotdash Meredith, overseeing revenue strategy for InStyle, Byrdie, Brides and Shape. She has served in this position since January 2022, following her time as Senior Vice President of Beauty at Dotdash. Previously, Guy was also the VP of Beauty at Refinery29 and Executive Director at Cosmopolitan, where she helped launch new properties like Cosmo for Latinas.
Since joining the company in 2019, Guy and her team have been focused on building out new and disruptive advertising experiences for beauty and fashion advertisers with a focus on utility, innovation, purpose and performance.
In 2020, her team relaunched the award-winning Byrdie Beauty Lab and executed the company’s first live streaming and shoppable experience for beauty superfans across the country. The following year, she facilitated the first beauty co-partnership with QVC, that included the launch of Byrdie’s first recurring TV Segment, “Byrdie Beauty Hour.” Guy also recently took over duties for People en Espanol, to help rebuild and move the brand forward, and to be more inclusive of the entire Latino community.
Guy resides in Holmdel NJ with her husband, two kids and golden retriever.
