Mythili Nori has worked in the Personal Care industry for over two decades. Her expertise is in Product Claim Substantiation and Data Science. In her current role at BASF, she is responsible for leading Physical Claim Substantiation and Sensory evaluations for Hair & Body Care. She is instrumental in leading research and claims method development for inclusive beauty.

She received a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at North Carolina Agriculture & Technical State University focusing on purification of drinking water. She has presented at various industry events and authored articles to NYSCC blog series. She also served as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Fall of 2023 & 2025, teaching the Claims Substantiation Course. She served as the Secretary on NYSCC Executive Board for 2024-2025 and has been part of the NYSCC Scientific Committee since 2021.
