Nancy Berger is SVP/Publishing Director and Chief Revenue Office of the Hearst Youth & Wellness
Group, including Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Seventeen and Clevver. She has served
in this position since June 2021, following her time in a similar role overseeing the Hearst Young
Women’s Group from January 2019 through June 2021.

With a deep commitment to innovation in media and marketing, Berger continually aims to build
multi- dimensional strategies across new platforms, identifying and executing creative ways to
engage consumers with brands and to connect marketers with a Gen Z and millennial audience. Among
such recent programs are the launch of Hauliday x Cosmo, a first-of-its-kind virtual shopping event
in collaboration with leading fashion and accessory retailers across the county, the creation of
The New C-Suite, Cosmopolitan’s new annual list recognizing women of color entrepreneurs, and the
development of the first-ever Women’s Health Breakthroughs Festival. Berger was also first to
incorporate livestream shopping into the Hearst Magazines portfolio, and most recently, introduced
the Youth & Wellness Group Airship, an interactive virtual headquarters for brands in the
metaverse.

Previously, Berger was the VP/Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of Marie Claire, a title she held
since December 2009. Berger led Marie Claire to new heights by creating several multi-layered media
platforms including Marie Claire @Work, SHOES FIRST™, The Power Trip, The Next Big Thing Concept
Shop, among others. She also developed revolutionary advertising achievements including the
magazine’s first-ever native advertising cover in April 2015 and the largest magazine cover ever
published in May 2015. Before that, Berger spent VP/Publisher of Gourmet and Allure for 7 years.

Throughout her career, Berger has earned numerous industry honors including recognition as
Advertising Age “Publisher of the Year”, and inclusion among MIN “Most Intriguing People in Media”
and FOLIO “Top Women in Media” lists. She currently sits on multiple boards, including The
Fragrance Foundation, Cosmetic Executive Women, Save the Children’s Mother’s Day initiative, and
the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and is a member of the Retail Influencer Network and
DealmakeHers.

Berger resides in New York City and Long Island.
