Since joining Huda Beauty in October 2018, Nathalie has been instrumental in accelerating the company’s global growth and widespread exposure with consumers and retail partners worldwide. Working closely with Huda Kattan and the Kattan family, Nathalie established Huda Beauty’s first-ever North America operation and the company’s center for digital excellence in Los Angeles, assembling a best-in-class team from scratch.
In March 2019, Nathalie assumed the role of Deputy CEO, becoming the Kattan family’s trusted right-hand woman. Nathalie has led multiple teams to strengthen the brand in existing markets, enter new markets around the world, and accelerate its direct to consumer e-commerce business, which has more than tripled under her leadership. Nathalie has also helped guide the company in its strategic expansion into skincare with the successful launch of its brand WISHFUL this year.
In February 2020, Nathalie moved across the globe to join Huda at the Huda Beauty Global Headquarters in Dubai partnering with Huda and the senior leadership team to manage the company through an unprecedented global crisis. During this time, Nathalie has contributed to reinforcing the financial health of the company, while preserving Huda Beauty’s cherished employees with a values-based and people-first approach, one that she shares with Huda and her family. Nathalie is helping drive the business from a rapidly growing start-up to a worldwide enterprise, setting the company up for continued growth and furthering Huda’s vision of making a positive impact on the beauty world.
Having always admired the brand and the inspirational founder story, Nathalie was drawn to working with Huda Beauty because of the brand’s deep connection and resonance with such a diverse and broad reaching global community. From the beginning, Nathalie fell in love with the authentic human values of the company and saw enormous potential for the brand to further its positive influence, which led it to become one of the top beauty brands in the world.
Prior to joining Huda Beauty, Nathalie spent 20 years in the beauty industry building and managing iconic brands and businesses across different geographies, from leading multi-category, multi-billion dollar international brands to successfully scaling a high-growth start-up on a global level. Nathalie spent most of her career at L’Oreal, most recently as Global Brand President of NYX Professional Makeup, where she spearheaded the globalization of the brand, amplifying their social and digital footprint, and pioneering a unique digitized retail experience to more deeply engage with consumers across the globe. She has also held the positions of Senior Vice President of Marketing for L’Oreal Paris USA, General Manager of Maybelline New York and Garnier in Canada, and various global roles in France.
