Pamela Gill Alabaster

Chief Sustainability, Marketing and Communications Officer | Board Director & Advisor | Adjunct Professor

Prior to joining Kenvue, Pam served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Sustainability and Social Impact at Mattel, where she led the company’s sustainability strategy across its portfolio of global brands including Barbie, Fisher-Price, and Hot Wheels. Earlier in her career she held leadership roles in corporate sustainability, communications, marketing, and corporate affairs at Centric Brands, Revlon, The Estée Lauder Companies, and L’Oréal USA, where she built a 21-year career helping to develop the company’s corporate affairs and sustainability practice while also leading flagship brands such as Lancôme and L’Oréal Paris.


In parallel with her advisory work, Pam is an Adjunct Professor in Columbia University’s Master of Sustainability Management program, where she teaches corporate ESG strategy. Her current research focuses on the evolving role of sustainability leaders and how organizations adapt governance, capability, and operating models to meet rising regulatory and market expectations.


Recognized by TriplePundit, Forbes, and Women in Sustainability Leadership (WSLA) for her leadership in sustainability and corporate responsibility, Pam serves on the board of directors of Pulsora and on the Governing Board of the ICTI Ethical Supply Chain Program, where she chairs the WorkerWellbeing Program. She is also a member of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), the GreenBiz Executive Network, and Sustainable Brands’ Advisory Council.


Pam holds an MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, an MBA in Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business, Yale School of Management, Executive Education Sustainability Leadership Program and a BA in Journalism from Pepperdine University.
